INNOVATIONS
Sustainable design: The Samba ship benefits from modern construction materials, combining lightness and strength, for increased durability and a reduced ecological footprint, notably with the use of carbon fibers and recycled polyethylene foam in the core of the construction sandwich with more than 90,000 recycled plastic bottles.
Triple propulsion: The Samba vessel is equipped with advanced triple propulsion, combining sail, electric and thermal propulsion, in order to maximize energy efficiency, reduce GHG emissions and noise pollution.
Integration of solar panels: The Samba catamaran will be equipped with solar panels to provide auxiliary energy in order to reduce fuel consumption, decreasing the environmental impact of the vessel.
Battery bank: The Samba vessel is equipped with a dedicated battery bank to power its onboard systems. This ensures autonomous power and reduces dependence on fossil fuels.
