JUNE 2025: arrival of Mayba, launch of our bases in the Alpes-Maritimes and events at sea!

After a month of May marked by numerous launches, AMC Cape Grace continued its strong momentum in June. With the arrival of our latest catamaran Mayba and the official launch of our bases at Marina Baie des Anges and Nice, June 2025 marked a key milestone in the development of AMC Cape Grace . Between inaugural cruises, awareness-raising actions, environmental partnerships and an unprecedented gathering, this month illustrated our vision of boating: more sustainable, more local, more committed.

📅 June 2 – Arrival of the Mayba catamaran and official launch of the Marina Baie des Anges and Nice bases
June got off to a great start with the arrival of our brand new hybrid maxi-catamaran, Mayba , now moored at the port of Marina Baie des Anges. We have now officially launched group sea trips departing from Marina Baie des Anges , but also from Nice . Excursions to the Lérins Islands, Cap d'Antibes, the bay of Villefranche-sur-Mer or even the Nice coast: a new adventure begins for AMC Cape Grace in the Alpes-Maritimes!
📅 June 2 – A class from Salins d'Hyères embarks on an awareness-raising trip aboard Iladora
On June 2nd, we welcomed a class from Salins d'Hyères on board for an educational outing dedicated to discovering the marine environment and raising awareness of respect for living things. A wonderful initiative led by the VARNAT association collective ( LPO PACA , APG, Recyclop Var and the Port-Cros National Park ), with the support of the City of Hyères and the Toulon Provence Méditerranée Metropolis . A wonderful project in line with our commitment to raising awareness and education about the environment.
📅 June 11 – UNOC 2025: workshop on board Mayba
As part of the United Nations Ocean Conference (UNOC 2025) , we had the honor of organizing a workshop on board Mayba in partnership with FNE PACA . This morning of exchanges and reflection on the preservation of the Mediterranean brought together committed and inspiring actors. An initiative to exchange, raise awareness and make a difference.
📆 June 16 – Unprecedented gathering of the AMC Cape Grace fleet at Cap Taillat
A moment rich in emotion and images: on June 16, the entire AMC Cape Grace fleet gathered at Cap Taillat for an exceptional photoshoot. Our 100% hybrid catamarans performed an elegant ballet on the water. Thank you to our crews for this unforgettable moment and for their dedication!
📆 June 18 – Official inauguration of Samba in Marseille
On June 18, Marseille welcomed with great fanfare the inauguration of Samba , our new 23.80-meter vessel capable of accommodating up to 180 passengers. The first maxi-catamaran on the Mediterranean coast equipped with triple propulsion (sail, electric, thermal), Samba embodies a major technological advance in the service of more sustainable maritime tourism.
Partners, institutions, media and sea lovers gathered to celebrate this historic launch together, in a festive and warm atmosphere.
📆 June 23 – Radio Monaco special broadcast on board Mayba
On June 23rd, Mayba transformed into a floating radio studio for Radio Monaco 's morning show! Live interviews, passionate exchanges, and good humor were on the agenda. Many thanks to Dominique Freulon, Stephane Gury (Agence Ketz) for the footage, and the entire Radio Monaco team for this unique moment shared at sea.

👉 Onboard workshop from July 1st aboard Samba (Marseille)
In partnership with FNE PACA, AMC Cape Grace is hosting a new workshop aboard Samba in Marseille, focusing on a topical issue: "Marine and coastal biodiversity in the face of offshore wind power." This event will bring together researchers, NGOs, institutional stakeholders, and maritime professionals to discuss the challenges and balances that need to be preserved at sea.

From July 1st, our group cruises are available every day (and no longer just on weekends) departing from our 5 bases: Marseille , Hyères , Saint-Raphaël , Marina Baie des Anges and Nice .
A great opportunity to (re)discover the jewels of the Mediterranean coast.
